The Best Places to Work is an annual event for members of the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce. Of the more than 200 area businesses nominated for the Best Places to Work award for 2015 only 12 were selected as winners. Best Places to Work winners are judged in the following categories of micro (10-20), small (21-35), medium (36-149) and large (150+ local employees). Awards are based on a survey that asks employees to rate their company against criteria that includes team effectiveness, retention probability, job satisfaction and benefits. Victory Solutions was chosen in the “medium” company category. Tharon Honeycutt, the Chamber’s Vice Chair for Small Businesses and Events, said, “Employees and businesses are recognized by their peers for their contributions and the overall impression within their workforce, and in the community, making this a very special award. We are proud to receive the Department of Defense's prestigious Nunn-Perry Award with the Boeing Company for our Mentor/Protege relationship supporting the Missile Defense Agency in 2014!Victory Solutions is one of 14 businesses nation-wide selected for the prestigious Nunn-Perry Award by the Department of Defense in 2014. This award recognizes mentor-protégé teams that have excelled during previous fiscal years in areas of technical assistance and growth of the Department of Defense (DoD) protégé, with an impact on DoD protégés' development. This award was named in honor of former Senator Sam Nunn, who sponsored legislation creating the DoD Mentor-protégé Program, and former Secretary of Defense Dr. William Perry for his commitment to the program's implementation.

Over the last 2 years the Boeing Company has mentored Huntsville-based Victory Solutions Inc. as its protégé working on the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) contract for the DoD Missile Defense Agency (MDA). In this capacity, Victory Solutions develops and maintains MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System operations schedule in its Alabama, Colorado, California, and Alaska sites. Additionally, Boeing helped Victory Solutions establish an ISO 9001:2008-certified prototype integration facility in Charleston, SC that provides advanced design-to-build capabilities involving composites and other advanced technologies for a range of civil and government customers.
