Victory Solutions is honored to have received the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center 2023 Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award at the Marshall Small Business Alliance Meeting and MSFC FY23 Industry and Advocate Awards. The award is in recognition of the exemplary performance provided to the MSFC Engineering Directorate and Space Launch System Program Office under the Configuration and Data Management Contract. Kris McGuire, Founder and CEO, and Dr. Pete Rodriguez, Chief Technology Officer, accepted the award. As a recipient of the Boeing 2022 Supply Chain Performance Achievement (SPCA) Award, Victory Solutions was invited to attend Boeing’s Supplier of the Year event. Kris McGuire, founder and CEO, David Alan Smith, President and David’s wife Lori attended the event held last week in Orlando, FL. The SPCA award is given in recognition of supplier superior performance as measured in Boeing’s Enterprise Supplier Performance Measurement system. The SCPA program is globally recognized by the aerospace industry and acknowledges top-performing suppliers who have demonstrated their ability to proactively manage supply chain quality, readiness, and health and deliver on Boeing’s commitment to advance global sustainability.

Congratulations to Carol Sivley who was recently honored at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Agency Honor Awards Ceremony with the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal presented by acting MSFC Center Director, Joseph Pelfrey and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Director Mackenzie Lister! Carol serves as the Deputy Configuration Manager for the Space Launch System (SLS) Program on the Victory Solutions MIPSS team. Recent SET graduate and Victory Solutions employee, Linda Myers, also provided her perspective on how her SET degree and internship experience led to a full-time position supporting the Space Launch System (SLS) program at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. A little rain on Saturday didn't stop our Small Victories team as they volunteered at the Enable Madison County Vegetable Garden! Volunteers harvested and packaged 16 bags of fresh vegetables for delivery to senior citizens and the homebound in our community. Kudos to our Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX) Team for well-deserved recognition of their outstanding efforts in support of the 2022/2023 in-port period for SBX! Jason Matricardi was recognized for his exceptional contributions as SBX-1 Mission Director during a challenging 120-day maintenance period. Kevin Miller was recognized for exceptional contributions in the installation and integration of the new SBX Satellite Communications (SATCOM) System. Kenneth Easley, Matthew Witte and Chris Outlaw were recognized for exceptional contributions in the preparation and execution of the Cooperative Vulnerability Test of the Non Mission Communications (NMC) Network.  Developed by the Missile Defense Agency, the SBX radar is designed to detect, track, and discriminate incoming threats and provide data to ground-based interceptors as part of the Ballistic Missile Defense System.

We appreciate all of your efforts on this vital component of our nation's missile defense system. Congratulations!
