The Space Launch System (SLS) Configuration and Data Management Team had a great time at a picnic yesterday celebrating their many accomplishments and contributions to the SLS Program. The hot dogs and hamburgers were grilled to perfection and a great time was had by all! Since the event coincided with the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Take Our Children to Work Day, several employees' children and grandchildren were able to share in the event and learn more about the many exciting things going on at MSFC.

Chris Crumbly and David Alan Smith participated in the recent Huntsville/Madison County Chamber annual trip to the State Capitol. Attendees enjoyed a reception honoring our state government leaders, the opportunity to meet and network with government leadership and lunch with Governor Kay Ivey.

Victory Solutions interns, Linda Myers and Zavier Jackson, were introduced by Calhoun Community College Systems Engineering Technology (SET) instructor, Ron Porter at this month's National Space Club - Huntsville breakfast meeting. Linda and Zavier are both doing their internships as subcontractors to Boeing supporting the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Space Launch System Program. The SET program at Calhoun trains system modelers in the use and application of tools used for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and helps address the growing need in the workforce for these high-demand skills. Calhoun will graduate their first cohort of SET students next month. Learn more about the SET Program at https://lnkd.in/gVX6H2Yj

The recent 2023 Washington D.C. fly-in by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber proved our area’s incredible team and federal communities support with close to 200 in attendance. Victory Solutions is a proud team member and was represented by Chris Crumbly and Holly Ralston. Attendees participated in meetings and presentations by Senators Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville, Congressmen Robert Aderholt and Dale Strong, and other member of Congress. Chamber leadership delivered the region’s federal agenda and issues and provided opportunities to hear from a variety of stakeholders and federal agencies: NASA, DIA, FBI, SDA, NHGRI, U.S. Chamber, and others.
