VSI is proud to be a member of the Boeing team that recently was awarded a 7 year $3.48B development and sustainment contract (DSC) from the U.S. Missile Defense Agency; for future work on the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) element of the United States' ballistic missile defense system. The Boeing-led team currently operates and sustains the deployed GMD weapon system; while developing and testing new technologies to provide increased reliability and to meet evolving customer needs and requirements. VSI personnel currently support the team in four states.

VSI would is pleased to formally announce Leigh Hummer has recently been named as Vice President Engineering, Military Systems.

VSI has officially been certified as a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for Veterans Enterprise. VSI will now meet more stringent requirements for SDVO reserved contracts. VSI is listed accordingly in the VetBiz Database.
